What we do in life, echoes in the lives of those in need.  We might not be able to change the world, but we might be able to change someone’s world.

We are driven by our passion to make a difference in our community and help those in need.
• Tabita’s main function is to support children in need with food in their schools by providing food parcels to the parents on a monthly basis. 

 • Tabita’s focus is, to build a better future for children still attending school. No child should be in a position not to be able to focus on their education because of an empty stomach

How it started 
Established in 2008, registered as NGO in 2016 

Tabita is named after a woman in the Bible in Acts 9 who made a difference in the community.


Tabita is mainly working in schools North of the Magalies Mountain. We also support old age homes, safe houses and disabled people all over the community. 


By providing food to families with children we lessen the pressure at home for parents to provide for their families.
